• How I receive God’s word ( His message , His promises ..) is important to me
• I know I receive His word with joy – but do I want this joy to remain?
• Do I need to maintain The joy with which I receive in His word ?
• I should not fall into the category of maintaining Gods word for a while but for a lifetime .
• Be not a rocky soil instead be a good fertile soil
Nature of “believing for a while “ :
• Don’t have deep roots
• fall away when they face temptation.
• Withdraw in time of trial and and stand aloof
• believe only for a little while
• Give up as life gets hard
• turn away when trouble comes
• Falling away when the time of testing comes
• Abandon the word the when faith is tested
• don’t allow the teaching to go deep into their lives.
Overcoming tips to fall into fertile soil:
• Cling to His word : patiently. How long ? – until I see the result
• Hold it fast steadily
• commit myself to it with a good and upright heart.
• keep it until last
• Obey His word
• Retain it : persisting until I bear fruit
• seize the Word
• Stick to the word until there is a harvest
• Endure by faith
When I cling to His word patiently – results are immense.
I will enjoy :
• Huge harvest
• Steady harvest
• Bearing Good fruit
• Lasting harvest ( harvest that doesn’t stop)
• Good harvest
Takeaways:
• Steady growth brings steady fruit
• produce what is good despite what life may bring : not going by what life offers but by what God’s word offers

Prayer 🙏🏻
Father In Jesus Name help me to stick to your word and bear fruit inJN amen
Bible references:
““This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is God’s word.”
Luke 8:11 NLT
“The seeds on the rocky soil represent those who hear the message and receive it with joy. But since they don’t have deep roots, they believe for a while, then they fall away when they face temptation. The seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life. And so they never grow into maturity. And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest.”
Luke 8:13-15 NLT
