Everyday , every part of our life we have a choice to make – Choice to choose the fruit of the tree we would want to eat from. Knowledge is available in tons today . Knowledge of every kind and on very kind is made available so easy . Knowledge of every good and knowledge of every bad is offered so easy and that it’s available to every age – for every big and small , for every young and old. People are offered so many learning courses today in every subject – be it good or be it bad , be it worthy or be it unworthy .
God Almighty was so good enough that at the very beginning of the formation of the earth – He gave clear instructions to man and woman to make themselves always choose right tree to eat the right fruit that which will allow them to stay in His blessings all the time , all the days of their life .
Today imagine every area of life , every subject , every knowledge , every study , every program is a tree that produces its own fruit . What kind of tree are you choosing today ? What kind of fruit are you choosing to eat ?
Are you choosing to feed yourself on the knowledge that God wants you to study? Are you choosing to eat the fruit of the tree that He ordained for you ? Are you eyeing things that He not kept for you ? Are you eyeing the fruit of your neighbor / fruit of your co- worker , fruit of your friends … ??
Anything that’s not in God’s plan for you , anything that’s not in Gods will for you , anything that’s not in Gods agenda for you , anything that’s not in Gods destiny book for you , anything that’s not in His word – becomes a bitter tree. It becomes a tree which gives the knowledge of good and evil. If you ever eat fruit from that tree, you will die.
What you see, what kind of tree you choose , what kind of fruit you eye and you desire to eat – matters a lot. This choice will either make you win or loose. This choice will either make you live with toil or make you live enjoying life staying rested ! As long as Adam and Eve made a choice to feed from the right tree , as long they made a choice to eye the right fruit – they enjoyed life staying rested , staying well fed from God almighty . The moment they made wrong choice they lost very bit of Gods goodness!! They even lost the knowledge of God where God had to send His only son Jesus to redeem the mankind back to His love!
Let’s feed on the right tree , let’s feed on the right information , let’s feed on the right knowledge – Let’s feed on His word that bears only and only good fruit that makes enjoy life!
What’s the Fruit of the wrong tree ?
( in other words what kind of fruit are you eating when you make wrong choice )
• Death
• Calamity
• Evil
• Bad
What happens when you choose to eat from the wrong tree ?
( in other words what happens when you choose not to feed from His word )
The Bible says :
• You will die
○ Spiritually damaged – as you are disconnected from God
○ Physically damaged – since you spirit man is decayed then slowly your physical body is affected because spirit man feeds physical .
As soon as God gave man this directives , the next verse He created woman . (“Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is right for him.””Genesis 2:18 NCV) Why do you think God created woman ? He wanted man to have a company , a friend so that he now has some distraction from that tree so that now he has helper woman ( a spiritual helper ) who can also advise him to/help him make right choices . But his companion Eve lost it.
So, As spiritual companions it’s the job of every husband and wife to always be focused on the right tree so that as family we feed on the right fruit and bring our generation rightly in Gods blessing !!
