Faith in Christ

“For though I am far away from you, my heart is with you. And I rejoice that you are living as you should and that your faith in Christ is strong.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

• What does it mean for my faith to be strong in Christ ?
• My living should be with my faith in Christ ?
• I should live with my faith in Christ which is strong : making my faith strong in Christ
• In other words “ Faith in Christ “ should be my living

What does it mean for my faith to be strong in Christ ?

“For even though I am absent [from you] in body, nevertheless I am with you in spirit, delighted to see your good discipline [as you stand shoulder to shoulder and form a solid front] and to see the stability of your faith in Christ [your steadfast reliance on Him and your unwavering confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Answer : your steadfast reliance on Him and your unwavering confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].”

• My faith should be unwavering

Living life of strong faith in Christ means :

• Living with steadfast reliance on Him
• Living with unwavering confidence
  • in Him
  • In His power 
  • In His wisdom and 
  • In His goodness

Now, how do you cultivate this kind of strong faith in Him ?

“having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭7‬ ‭AMP‬‬

• Be deeply rooted in Him
• Be established in His word
• Build your life upon Him

What happens when you start living this kind of life ?

• Your life will overflow with thankfulness. When you lead a life of thankfulness :
  • There is no place for complaining
  • There is no place for grumbling because now you are full of Him!
  • You will not let anything or any situation capture you
• To be filled with thanksgiving is the mark of “ Fullness of Life in Christ “.
• You will live life with a confident mind and mind at rest ( no tensions of any sort )
• No one can mislead you

So make a decision to progress further in relationship with Christ and enjoy the fullness of joy in Him.

When you build your life upon Him : 

His power will never let you loose, His wisdom will never let you fail

And His goodness will never let you down !
