What attracts the devil and evil spirits in the lives of a believer? Or what makes the dark ruler have authority over you ?
⁃ Disobedience attracts the ruler of this world ( devil )
⁃ Following the ways of the world
⁃ Gratifying the cravings of the flesh
⁃ Following the desires and thoughts of the flesh
⁃ Disobedient to the truth of God
Devil , the dark ruler works diligently in the hearts of the people who are disobedient to the truth of God .
How do you overcome these unhealthy thoughts and desires ?
⁃ remember yourself that you are handiwork of God
⁃ Remember yourself that God prepared you for His purpose and you are letting evil desires conquer you
⁃ Remember the fruit of the spirit is in you
⁃ Greater is Jesus in you than anyone or anything that’s in the world
⁃ Remember yourself that you are dead to sin , you no longer belong to this world but to the Kingdom of God
⁃ Remember yourself that you are His poetry and you will let only Him complete the poem He started in you
Don’t be rebellious in following His corrections in your life .
Don’t get back to the stagnant life of sin. Every time you sin, you become stagnant from the progress you are called to make in the kingdom of God. You will not make any progress towards God predestined destiny for you. You graph will slow down, you will waste your time fixing the unnecessary distractions you attracted by following your cravings of the flesh.
Always exhale obedience out of you not disobedience.
Let’s get back on track every moment following Jesus , following the promptings of our guide in us – the Holy Spirit . We are called to be part of Him, the same spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead is living inside of us that can help us overcome the cravings of the flesh and evil desires and wandering thoughts that are not from God.
Let us run our race in full swing and full speed by partnering with our Lord Jesus Christ!
