How to be a practical and a sensible man?

People think these are inbuilt , these are in nature , these are given. Of course these are given and inbuilt but these need to be sharpened to be successful. These have to be tended to make it sharper just like a knife . When we buy the knife brand new from the store it so sharp , but upon its usage it looses it sharpness, it has to be mended and sharpened to keep it solid.

So if

I want to be a smart carpenter

I want to build a house on the solid rock.

I want to be a wise man

I want to be a far sighted man

I want to be a practical man

I want to be a sensible man

Then I will have to work on something that’s foundational and solid. The Bible clearly says it’s the nothing but the Word of God.

Word of God is my rock:

they are foundational words

Words to build life upon

Unshakeable foundation

Work :

I want to work these words into my life .

I want to do these words

I want to follow these words

I want to apply these words

So nothing :

moves my house

No tornadoes

No rain pour

No river floods

No winds can blow

No surprise beats against it

Nothing can collapse it

Nothing can crash it .

You know who crashes it?

Who makes it fall down ?

it’s the ones own self

When flesh dominates it destroys that’s which is built by the Spirit.

Don’t fool to be lost in the foolishness of your own self.

Prayer :

Father in Jesus name – help me to be wise to apply your words and build my life upon the solid ground , solid rock which is your word. Help me to let the spirit dominate my life and my world. Let me not be dominated by my flesh in Jesus name amen.
