Faith brings:
Hopes into reality
Its a handle on what we can’t see
Proof of what is not seen
Faith becomes:
Foundation needed to acquire the things that we long for
Firm foundation that makes life worth living
Examples from the Bible :
Abraham by faith stepped into unfamiliar leaving behind the familiar
Abraham made God his architect and builder of his unknowns
faith inspired and opened Jospeh’s eyes to see things in the future
Faith pulled the Jericho walls down
Works of faith :
faith helps us to fasten ourselves to the promises of God and pulls them into reality
Faith imparts power and makes us strong even though we are weak
It shuts the mouth of the lions
It puts the ragging fire down
It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him.”
