Watch out for Esau Syndrome

Off late Have you been seeing no peace in your precious Gods given relationships? Have you given a thought what could be the reason for not maintaining peace with everyone in the family specially with your loved ones. Have you reflected on what must have been the reason for this bitterness caused ?
One the major reason could be walking in flesh , getting driven by the demands of the flesh appetite. The Bible in message translation calls this behavior a “ Esau Syndrome “. Just pouncing on the flesh appetite not falling into Gods correction . Holy Spirit of God is always within us whispering to us not to walk or be carried away by the dictates of flesh because flesh always longs for sin . Let’s get trained by the correction from the Lord. Let’s not take His grace for granted , let’s not over look His grace .

Get yourself stepping into the peace of God always. Get the flesh disciplined by the corrections of the Lord.
The results / the harvest of a well Godly disciplined character is righteousness and peace unsurpassable. But the opposite of it ie the harvest of bitterness is trouble and a poison heart that results only in tears. Be quick to identify this esau syndrome and fix it immediately by choosing to walk in peace with people around you. Some mistakes needs to be rectified right away so that the bitter end can be well avoided. Prevention is better than cure. Esau cried after he realized that he had already traded his birth right for the flesh appetite, for the flesh tantrums, but it was too late for him to repent . He repented but was too late , what he lost he was not able to get it back. He ended up harvesting tears only.
Friends, let’s not get into this bitter attitude , this Esau syndrome that Bible suggests us to stay away from , let’s choose to walk in love with our spouses , with our close knit relationships because these are the relationships that we take it for granted . In situations where we want to talk back to our spouses , hurting them with your words not realizing the impact of discouraging words . Let’s encourage each other with love filled words and peace filled words so that we enjoy every moment life has to offer. God has already written a beautiful story about your life.. it’s already beautifully destined by Him for you .. so choose to tap into that beauty by simply choosing faith filled , love filled words and peace filled words today in Jesus name amen!

Choose faith filled ,
Love filled ,
Peace filled words today !

Now all discipline seems to be painful at the time, yet later it will produce a transformation of character, bringing a harvest of righteousness and peace to those who yield to it. In every relationship be swift to choose peace over competition, and run swiftly toward holiness, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. Watch over each other to make sure that no one misses the revelation of God’s grace. And make sure no one lives with a root of bitterness sprouting within them which will only cause trouble and poison the hearts of many. Be careful that no one among you lives in immorality, becoming careless about God’s blessings, like Esau who traded away his rights as the firstborn for a simple meal. And we know that later on when he wanted to inherit his father’s blessing, he was turned away, even though he begged for it with bitter tears, for it was too late then to repent.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:11, 14-17‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Work at getting along with each other and with God. Otherwise you’ll never get so much as a glimpse of God. Make sure no one gets left out of God’s generosity. Keep a sharp eye out for weeds of bitter discontent. A thistle or two gone to seed can ruin a whole garden in no time. Watch out for the Esau syndrome: trading away God’s lifelong gift in order to satisfy a short-term appetite. You well know how Esau later regretted that impulsive act and wanted God’s blessing—but by then it was too late, tears or no tears.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:14-17‬ ‭MSG‬‬
